This 4-week online session meets each Sunday afternoon from 3:00-4:00 p.m. EST beginning January 25 and ending February 15. Registrants will receive excerpts of each author’s recent work, and the authors will join Wiley for a discussion of their use of craft. Perennial New York Times bestseller John Grisham kicks us off with a conversation about how he gets started on a new project. Longtime friends and New York Times bestselling novelists Christina Baker Kline and Paula McLain will discuss writing historical fiction. National Book Award winner Colum McCann will discuss the importance of literary community, and fellow National Book Award winner Jason Mott will close out our first series with a discussion about the importance of writers paying attention to the world around them. Each workshop will include a Q&A for registrants to ask questions, and all sessions will close with an exercise to get you writing on your own. Each session will be recorded and shared with registrants who cannot attend in real time.
